BTTF#012 - Halloween , Sicario, The Man Who Would Be King

October 31, 2015

The twelfth edition of the main podcast sees the passing of our first anniversary and the team would like to thank all those that have given the podcast a go.  Whether it was just one episode or every episode, we thank you for your support.

In keeping with the season, this film starts with John Carpenter's classic horror movie, Halloween, which starred a young Jamie Lee Curtis.  Would this 1978 film have stood the test of time?
The team then move on to the recent cinema release, Sicario.  The film is directed by Dennis Villeneuve and has a strong cast that includes Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin.
The final film for this episode was an adaptation of a classic Rudyard Kipling story, The Man Who Would Be King.  This 1975 film was directed by John Huston and starred Sean Connery, Michael Caine and Christopher Plummer.
The next episode, due in the middle of November, will be in the Foundation Films series and will take a look at the original Star Wars trilogy.  The next main podcast, due at the end of November, will look at the new Steve Jobs biopic, Disney Pixar's Inside Out and the classic Raging Bull.

We had hoped to bring you video of this podcast but this has not worked out this time, I guess it is all a learning experience!
